DownsDesign Makes Shout Weekly 30 Under 30

Last week I had the great pleasure of being voted one of Shout Weekly’s 30 Under 30 (@ShoutOmaha). Omaha has so much great creative talent and I was humbled to be listed along side so many of Omaha’s finest. Check out all the 30 Under 30 winners on the Silicon Prairie News website.

Below is an excerpt published by Shout!:

“I have been fortunate enough to partner with my good friend Megan Hunt of Princess Lasertron to open a coworking space called CAMP at the MasterCraft Building in Downtown Omaha. Our goal for CAMP is to forge a creative environment for innovators in Omaha to come collaborate, learn and grow with others. Through CAMP we can give them an opportunity to learn from someone who has the experience to help them. In this way we can help them…it creates a culture where everybody is helping each other out.

I want to be a role model for young professionals in the area. I want them to see that they can go out there and create their own businesses too. I think a lot of young people have this idea that they need to get out of Nebraska as soon as they can, but I want them to understand that not only can they be successful, but that they can be successful in Omaha.”
